After Dern put together five mostly dominant performances on the regional scene, the UFC dialed her number. The two-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion and 2015 Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championships gold medalist will make her Octagon debut to much fanfare, as she confronts Ashley Yoder at T-Mobile Arena. Dern last competed under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner in December, when she submitted Kaline Medeiros with a third-round armbar. Yoder, 30, has dropped back-to-back bouts to Justine Kish and Angela Hill after starting her career 5-1.
