Court McGee vs. Ryan Jensen
Winner of TUF 11, McGee goes from the frying pan into fire, with the expectations of a reality show winner on his shoulders. With a riveting story where he overcame drug addiction and the demons of usage, the Utahan has transformed himself into a budding star. The mountain begins with Jensen, a tough benchmark-style fighter who is likely to give fighters at McGee’s level a tussle due to his experience and calm approach, even in bad positions.
This is a good first fight for McGee, one that will find him enjoying the luxury of being able to pick where he strikes, clinches and goes for takedowns. Jensen will have his work cut out for him with a high-pressure attack, but McGee will be relentless, using his work rate and focus to solve potential traps on the way to a second-round victory.
