Once the Bellator-PFL merger was finalized, Pacheco became an obvious choice to confront Cyborg in a champion-versus-champion superfight. It was the best fight possible in the women’s featherweight division. Cyborg has put together a legendary career, winning titles in the UFC, Bellator, Invicta Fighting Championships and Strikeforce. She now has the chance to add another championship to her collection. Pacheco figures to have considerable say-so in the matter and undoubtedly wants to defend the ground she has gained and the legacy she has built in the PFL. She remains underrated in terms of public opinion, but a victory over Cyborg would give her an undeniable claim on being one of the greatest of all-time.
