6. Jose Aldo vs. Anthony Pettis


In a matter of 13 seconds at UFC 194, former featherweight champion Aldo went from being one of the top three pound-for-pound fighters in the sport to becoming the latest Conor McGregor victim. The Brazilian undoubtedly wants to get back into action to regain the luster that was eradicated by McGregor’s left hook.

Pettis, meanwhile, finds himself on the rebound after he surrendered the lightweight title in a one-sided loss to Rafael dos Anjos. “Showtime” will meet two-time Bellator MMA champion Eddie Alvarez on Jan. 17, but win, lose or draw, we would love to see him inside the cage with Aldo. Whether at 145 or 155 pounds, their pairing would make for one heck of a fight.
