The American Top Team standout will put her women’s bantamweight championship on the line against Pennington, as she returns to her native Brazil for the first time since November 2015. Nunes has the wind of a six-fight winning streak in her sails -- a tear that has seen her defeat Shayna Baszler, Sara McMann, Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey and Valentina Shevchenko (twice). Fully recovered from an ATV accident that left her with a broken leg, Pennington has not fought since she took a unanimous decision from the aforementioned Tate at UFC 205 some 18 months ago.
