One of the world’s premier fighters at 125 pounds, Dodson tried out for the cast as a bantamweight in order to get his foot in the UFC door. Based at Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts in Albuquerque, N.M., the 26-year-old last competed at the infamous Nemesis Fighting “MMA Global Invasion” show in December, when he outpointed John Moraga by unanimous decision in the Dominican Republic. A flashy striker, Dodson has never been finished. Two of his five career defeats have come via split verdict.
