Nearly two years have passed since Zingano was last seen inside the Octagon. The former title contender will make her anticipated return opposite the undefeated Vieira, as she tries to reclaim her place as one of the world’s premier bantamweights. Zingano, 35, has not fought since she wound up on the wrong side of a unanimous decision against Julianna Pena at UFC 200 on July 9, 2016. Wins over Raquel Pennington, Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes -- she finished all three of them -- buoy her resume, which dates back to her days in the Ring of Fire promotion. Vieira has compiled a perfect 9-0 record, highlighted by her arm-triangle choke submission on 2004 Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann at UFC 215 in September.
