Light heavyweight standout Bogdan Guskov means business every time he steps up to do battle inside the Octagon. Hailing from Dukent, Uzbekistan, Guskov is the archetype of a classic no-frills martial artist driven solely by a yearning for competition. Guskov claims to have earned a bachelor’s degree in a still-unnamed field of study and also considers himself a professional welder—a job he might have picked up while tracking down his MMA goals.
