Lima, 29, has enjoyed two welterweight title reigns in Bellator and established himself as one of the promotion’s most exciting competitors with scintillating knockouts against Ben Saunders (twice), Rick Hawn and Andrey Koreshkov. He cemented his hold on the 170-pound division at Bellator 180 in June, when he took a unanimous verdict from Lorenz Larkin at Madison Square Garden in New York.
