8. Gary Goodridge vs. Pedro Otavio

Goodridge was one of the stars of MMA’s infancy. His brawls during the early days of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Pride remain some of the most memorable in history, and Goodridge could get a little nasty whenever the situation required it of him.
“Big Daddy” competed in a same-day tournament at International Vale Tudo Championship 1 in Brazil. Otavio reached the final against Goodridge but was reported to have been crushing his opponents’ private parts in each of his previous bouts. When the Brazilian got around to facing Goodridge, he got a taste of his own medicine.
Goodridge pressured Otavio into the corner of the ring and began jamming his fist deep into the Brazilian’s family jewels. The battle lasted more than 16 minutes, until Goodridge finally brought it to a close with punches. Many times during their skirmish “Big Daddy” poked, punched and squeezed Otavio’s nether region. Grainy film of the fight exists for those who desire to seek it out.
