Aleksander Emelianenko vs. Matt Foki
Once again, size proved to be the deciding factor as Aleksander Emelianenko out punched the significantly shorter and lighter Matt “The Twin Tiger” Foki en route to a submission (once again, rear choke) at 3:16 Round 1.
Fedor’s (not so little) younger brother used his extreme reach advantage to pound Matt on the feet, before taking him down and pounding him from the guard. After a timeout to check the cut that had opened above Foki’s eye, The Twin Tiger got caught numerous times standing before being taken down and maneuvered into the fight ending rear choke.
A nice victory for Aleksander, who moves up to 3-0-0 while Foki falls to 6-1-0.
