NR | Qileng Aori (18-9, 0-2 UFC) vs. NR | Cameron Else (10-5, 0-1 UFC)

BETUS ODDS: Aori (-240), Else (+190)

This should be a fun scrap, which has been true of each Aori fight in the UFC thus far. One of a few products of the UFC’s performance center in Shanghai to hit the promotion in the last year or so, the “Mongolian Murderer” might be the most reliably exciting of them, as Aori finds most of his success through sheer aggression. Unfortunately, he has yet to turn that into a UFC victory in two tries. He came out on the losing end of an absolute war with Jeff Molina in his UFC debut, then fell victim to a gutsy performance against Cody Durden in November. For his third assignment, he will move up to bantamweight to face Else, who certainly will look to match Aori’s aggression early on. England’s “Camchida” had a middling start to his pro career, though it did include a submission win over a nascent Paddy Pimblett before he rode a wave of quick finishes over weak competition to a UFC call-up in late 2020. That has been part of a clear pattern throughout Else’s career. He is an absolute terror for about a round on both the feet and the mat, but things tend to go south quite quickly for the Brit afterwards. Else’s grappling ability is a concern, but Aori has looked durable and hard to stop throughout his career, so he should be able to survive the early going and turn things around shortly thereafter. The pick is Aori via second-round stoppage.
