If UFC fans didn't know who Dave Terrell was before Saturday's card, they sure do now. Needing just 25 seconds, the Cesar Gracie-trained Terrell blasted through top middleweight contender Matt Lindland, securing his first UFC victory in spectacular fashion and setting things up in the UFC's most interesting division.

The fighters danced in the Octagon before Terrell, now 10-1-0, connected with a surprisingly heavy flat-footed right straight. Lindland (11-3-0) dropped like someone had pulled his cord, and Terrell pounced, landing five bombs that had the crowd cringing in their seats. Referee Herb Dean threw himself between the fighters, protecting the unconscious Lindland from further damage.
