Wren, thought to be one of the favorites to win the entire season, helped Team Rashad further expand its embarrassing lead over Team Rampage to 5-0. Coach Quinton Jackson was at a loss for words during the taping but blogged at length about his lack of coaching ability on his personal Web site.
The episode also focused on the shoulder-injury theatrics of Matt Matrione, who is developing into one of the season’s heels.
The episode scored a 2.2 share rating for 2.8 million average viewers -- about the same number as its predecessor -- on Spike TV. The number is strong and does not represent the dramatic post-Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson dip that was expected.
