The Doggy Bag: UFC 100 Edition
Fight of the Night
Sherdog.com Staff Jul 5, 2009
With so many fantastic bouts on a single card at UFC 100, which
contest is the Sherdog favorite to be awarded “Fight of the Night”?
I’m going to go outside the box and predict that T.J. Grant
vs. Dong Hyun
Kim will be the most entertaining fight on the card.

Greg Savage, radio host: I’d like to entertain your comment here, but the Georges St. Pierre-Thiago Alves fight is just too intriguing for me.
These are two of the best fighters in the world, and if you ask me, they should be headlining this card. I understand why Brock Lesnar is at the top of the slate, but for my money GSP is the best fighter in the world and that should trump anything else.
There are so many fights that get hyped up and fail to deliver, but I just don't see that happening with this bout. Even if it ends quickly it should do so in explosive fashion. I can see either fighter knocking out the other and the complete packages of skills these guys possess should lend itself to a very interesting matchup at the very least.
With all that is riding on this scrap -- the welterweight title and a spot among the greatest fighters in the world -- it truly should turn out to be a fight for the ages.
