Akhmetov vs. Moraes
One Championship “Kings and Conquerors”
Aug. 5 | Macau, China
Akhmetov and Moraes will unify the One Championship flyweight title in a rematch almost two years in the making. The 29-year-old Kazakhstani grappler owns 15 finishes among his 20 career victories, 10 of them by submission. Akhmetov has put away 14 different opponents in the first round. Moraes, 28, has pieced together a two-fight winning streak since his loss to Akhmetov. The Constrictor Team export captured the interim One Championship flyweight crown a little less than a year ago, as he submitted Tilek Batyrov with a second-round rear-naked choke.
