Heavyweights
Tom Aspinall (7-2) vs. Jake Collier (11-4)Odds: Aspinall (-220), Collier (+180)
It'll be interesting to see what Aspinall can do inside of the UFC. The Brit's resume is somewhat thin - he took two years off to become a boxer, and his subsequent two bouts lasted less than two and a half minutes combined. But he looks competent, which is half the battle when it comes to heavyweight prospects.
He'll take on Collier, who seemingly vanished after a fun 2017 win over Marcel Fortuna to suddenly re-appear here and move up to heavyweight in the process. Collier's a reckless fighter who didn't stand out as particularly physical during his stay at 205 pounds, so it'll also be interesting to see how he looks here. As Gian Villante showed, not all moves up to heavyweight are done in the most positive manner. At any rate, Collier seems like the exact type of fighter who will charge right into a knockout blow from Aspinall regardless of what shape he shows up in, so the pick is for the newcomer to score a first-round finish.
