The unbeaten Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt and former Canadian national muay Thai champion has posted three straight first-round finishes since his May 2009 return. Anchored at BDB Martial Arts in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the 30-year-old was a bronze medalist at the 2008 Fila Grappling World Championships. Ring has secured half of his 10 career victories by submission.
