Nicknamed “The South Jersey Strangler,” Williams has delivered five of his seven wins by choke-induced submission. The 26-year-old Team Balance representative suffered his first professional defeat in August, when UFC veteran Dustin Jacoby forced a doctor’s stoppage against him at a Cage Fury Fighting Championships show in Atlantic City, N.J. Williams owns a 2011 victory over Andre Gusmao, the man who welcomed reigning light heavyweight king Jon Jones to the Octagon a little more than four years ago.
