Having cut his competitive teeth inside the Ultimate Warrior Challenge promotion, McCray has finished all five of his opponents inside one round, the last three in less than a minute. Born to a military father, the 28-year-old was raised in Germany and ultimately spent time in the United States Army Reserves. Spawned by the Gold Medal Grappling camp in Woodbridge, Va., McCray last competed in November, when he submitted King of the Cage veteran Marcus Ajian in 45 seconds at a Ballroom Battleground show in Maryland.
