Based in Colorado Springs, Pennington has lost two in a row, including an October 2012 submission defeat to Cat Zingano. The 24-year-old last competed at Invicta Fighting Championships 4 in January, when she came up short in a unanimous decision loss to Leslie Smith at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kan. Pennington made her professional debut at a Medieval Fight Productions offering in March 2012, as she stopped Kim Couture on second-round knees to the body.
