There’s no place a MMA fan would rather be than in the Saitama
Super Arena for this show. “Destiny” is the theme for the evening
and questions will be answered for several title pictures.
Gomi-Pulver, Henderson-Kondo and Emelianenko-Nogueira are definite
divisional statements. And other questions will be answered like
“Which is stronger, Olympic judo or Olympic Greco-Roman wrestling?”
Yoshida-Gardner will have to decide it.
“Can judo beat sumo?” We’ll know when “Sentoryu” and Takimoto clash. “Can real pro wrestling beat kickboxing?” Leko-Minowa answers this one. The Filipovic-Randleman bout should be interesting. Silva-Hunt looks very promising -- amazing what PRIDE will book on short notice. It looks like a great show and at least we only have to wait a few days to see it in the U.S. Have a safe and happy New Year and as always, enjoy the fights!
