1. Cat Zingano vs. Ronda Rousey
UFC 184
Feb. 28, 2015 | Los Angeles

Rousey has built her career on taking out opponents in the blink of an eye, as she has embarrassed a number of would-be successors to the UFC women’s bantamweight throne, from Sara McMann (66 seconds) and Alexis Davis (16 seconds) to Bethe Correia (34 seconds). However, one fight stands out above all others. Zingano was supposed to give the “Rowdy” judoka the toughest test of career at the Staples Center, but things did not play out as she had hoped.

Zingano had pieced together a game plan, but once the match began, all her hard work in the gym went out the window. She misfired on a sloppy flying knee, wandered into the clinch against an Olympic bronze medalist and got tossed to the canvas. Rousey climbed towards the challenger’s back, rolled and locked in one of the prettiest straight armbars in MMA history. Zingano was forced to tap immediately, and just like that, after 14 seconds, Rousey’s night’s work was done.
