Jones can do it all inside the Octagon. He can strike, he can grapple and he can do incredible amounts of damage once he hits the floor. Jones’ vicious ground-and-pound tends to lead to two outcomes for his opponent: technical knockout or submission. In some cases, it results in a trip to the hospital.

“Bones” uses an array of elbows -- perhaps best exemplified in wins over Vladimir Matyushenko and Brandon Vera -- and punches to dismantle his adversaries. Worse yet for opponents, he has a vast arsenal of throws and takedowns through which to get the fight on the ground. Jones has not been legitimately defeated inside the Octagon, and at age 28, he could put together a resume that allows him to leave the sport as the greatest fighter of all-time. He has already beaten Daniel Cormier, Glover Teixeira, Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort, Rashad Evans, Mauricio Rua, Lyoto Machida, Ryan Bader, Alexander Gustafsson and Quinton Jackson.

Provided he stays out of trouble outside the cage, there is no telling what Jones might accomplish by the time he is finished.
