Memorable moments were not in short supply at UFC 4, the event at which Royce Gracie triangle choked Dan Severn to win another tournament in a showdown between future hall of famers and Keith Hackney attempted to neuter Joe Son with a burst of testicular abuse that makes all men shudder to this day. Further down the roster, Charles squared off with Rosier in a reserve bout. Their match lasted all of 14 seconds, as Charles dismissed the Buffalo, New York, native with a first-round armbar. At the time, it was the fasted submission in Ultimate Fighting Championship history -- a distinction it would hold for less than a year.
