Though this round of TUF had an interesting spin, using UFC seasoned fighters down on their luck in the Octagon rather than fresh meat didnt seem to have the same appeal as previous seasons and it showed in the ratings.
Nevertheless, the match-ups on the TUF 4 finale are solid and bring together all eight middleweights and six of the welterweights (no Shonie Carter (Pictures) or Mikey Burnett). Unfortunately we also lose out on the return of Michael Bisping (Pictures), who is off the card due to visa issues.
And given the fact that, unlike a standard UFC event where popular fighters are peppered among a line-up of potentially unknown commodities to the general public, if youre watching the TUF 4 finale youve likely been following the drama for the better part of 13 weeks. That being the case, well skip the usual extensive background I usually provide and just get into the fights.
