Sherdog Official Mixed Martial Arts Rankings

We're in the middle of a red-hot stretch of MMA and that makes top-10 turnovers a sure-fire bet.

The UFC's latest trip to London saw the rise of two young Brazilians, as Thales Leites (Pictures) and Thiago Alves (Pictures) solidified their spots in the middleweight and welterweight divisions, respectively. However, their successes came on the backs of two perennially ranked veterans as Nathan Marquardt (Pictures) and Matt Hughes (Pictures) left the O2 Arena with losses.

In perhaps the most important bouts during this flurry of activity, the sport's premier little men put their supremacy on the line in huge featherweight and bantamweight bouts. Urijah Faber (Pictures) and Miguel Torres (Pictures) showed why they are pound-for-pound stars at putting MMA's smaller weight classes on the map.

However, many 135-pound and 145-pound standouts weren't quite as lucky. Shake-up in both divisions saw the exits of "Lion Takeshi" Takeshi Inoue (Pictures) and Daniel Lima (Pictures) from the top 10 and the entrance of Mike Thomas Brown and Will Ribeiro (Pictures).

And the summer has only just begun.
