It’s time to rumble again! Hawaii’s Rumble on the Rock is back with
another card of solid talent combining domestic warriors and
international headliners. The Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu will
erupt for the ninth ROTR show (including two “Proving Ground”
shows) featuring eight MMA bouts and a kickboxing match.
ROTR continues its tradition of presenting bouts that rival the more established premiere MMA organizations around the world. This time three bouts could be headliners on virtually any card. Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro, who suffered his first MMA defeat last December, faces the highly respected Tetsuji Kato who fought the first three years of his MMA career without a loss. Then Hawaiian fighting legend Kimo Leopoldo will meet giant football player Marcus Royster. And in the main event, “Tank” Abbott and “Cabbage” Correira try to finish what they started at UFC 45.
