When Guillard Got Tired & Turned His Life Around

Melvin Guillard (Pictured), on “The Savage Dog Show,” discussing when he decided to turn his life around:

“One day I was just like, ‘I can’t do this anymore.’ I think it was like maybe the last time I ever had to go to court. I was just like, ‘Do I really want to feel like this?’ I was sitting in the courtroom and you see real hardcore criminals sitting there with orange jumpsuits on and I’m sitting there and I didn’t do hardly anything, but I’m like, ‘Dude, do I want this to be my life? Do I want to have a life of seeing my wife through prison glass?’ I don’t want that. There’s so many people that care about me and my career. I’m just tired of letting people down. More so myself and my family. … I want to be a legend in this sport and I will be.”
