In one of the more shocking results of 2020 thus far, underdog Robert Helenius tore apart the previously unbeaten Adam Kownacki on Saturday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The two men exchanged with one another early and often, and they did so with reckless abandon.

Helenius (30-3, 19 KOs) sent Kownacki to the canvas in the fourth round, where he landed with a short right to the head on the inside. Though it was ruled a slip, Kownacki (20-1, 15 KOs) was in serious peril and hit the deck again after a barrage of follow-up punches. The Pole returned to his feet, only to find his equilibrium wrecked. Helenius finished him with a volley of blows, prompting the stoppage at the 1:08 mark of Round 4.

Meanwhile, Evan Holyfield—the 22-year-old son of the great Evander Holyfield—remained undefeated (4-0, 3 KOs) with a unanimous decision over Dylan Carlson (1-1, 1 KO) on Saturday at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. The two middleweight hopefuls traded leather throughout the four-round affair, but Holyfield proved to be too accurate and powerful on his way to sweeping the scorecards: 40-36, 40-36 and 39-37.

Finally, Mark Uranov (18-2-1, 10 KOs) captured the WBA gold super featherweight championship, as he took out Akzhol Sulaimanbek (15-1, 8 KOs) in the seventh round of their showdown on Saturday at the RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Uranov connected with a vicious fight-ending left hook in the seventh round.
