Vitaly Bigdash to Defend One Championship MW Title vs. Marcin Prachnio on Jan. 14
One Championship announced on Wednesday that Vitaly Bigdash will
defend his middleweight title against Marcin Prachnio at One “Quest
for Power” on Jan. 14. The event will take place at the Jakarta
Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Bigdash won the promotion’s 185-pound belt back in October 2015 by savagely knocking out Igor Svirid. A knee to the head followed by a torrent of punches ended things 36 ticks into the second at One Championship 32, but the Russian hasn’t fought since.
Poland’s Prachnio has won seven straight bouts, with the last three all coming under the One Championship banner. He last fought in August, when he knocked Jake Butler out with a series of knees at One Championship “Titles and Titans.”
Additional matchups for One Championship “Quest for Power” are: Kazunori Yokota vs. Martin Nguyen at featherweight; Anthony Engelen vs. A.J. Lias Mansor at featherweight; Vincent Latoe vs. Vaughn Donayre at lightweight; Stefer Rahardian vs. Jerome S. Paye at flyweight; Adrian Matheis vs. Rene Catalan at strawweight; and Sunoto vs. Khun Khmer at bantamweight.
