Heavyweight prospect Curtis Blaydes got his first win in the Octagon by taking out Cody East in the second.
After a wild back-and-forth opening round that saw both men hurt and taken down, Blaydes scored a blast-double early in the second and never looked back. East had a heck of a time getting the heavier “Razor” off of him and when he tried to scramble to his feet, Blaydes was all over him. The Elevation Fight Team representative unloaded roughly 15 straight elbows to the head and body, forcing referee Dave Hagen to stop it at the 2:02 mark.
