Trash Talk Not Affecting Mousasi

Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi is not bothered by Muhammed Lawal’s trash talk.

“This is the first time that I’m fighting someone that talks so much,” Mousasi (28-2-1) said of Lawal (6-0) on Monday’s Savage Dog Show. “In the beginning, it really annoyed me. Now, I understand it’s part of the game…It doesn’t bother me now.”

The Armenian-Dutch fighter will face the gifted American wrestler on Saturday at Strikeforce “Nashville”.
