The most significant win in Pat Healy’s career was wiped from the books. | Photo: Dave Mandel/Sherdog.com

A positive test for marijuana proved quite costly for Pat Healy.

Mere weeks removed from the most significant victory of his career -- a third-round submission against AMA Fight Club’s Jim Miller at UFC 159 -- Healy saw the result changed to a no contest by the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board. In addition, the 29-year-old received a 90-day suspension and had $130,000 in bonus money rescinded by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Healy was awarded “Submission of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” honors after he rendered Miller unconscious with a rear-naked choke on April 27. It was his first appearance inside the Octagon in nearly seven years. UFC President Dana White announced that bantamweight Bryan Caraway would receive the UFC 159 submission bonus in light of Healy’s test results.
