Spike TV’s UFC
137 “Prelims Live” special netted an average of 1.1 million
viewers with its live Saturday night broadcast, according to
numbers released Tuesday by network officials.
While the rating represents an increase from the company’s UFC 136 prelims offering, which took in a series-low 1 million viewers, the figure is still tied for the program’s second-lowest viewership on Spike. “Prelims Live” hit its ratings ceiling this past February, when the hour-long special earned 2 million viewers prior to the UFC 126 pay-per-view broadcast.
In addition to the overall viewership, “Prelims Live” earned a 0.8 household rating, as well as ratings of 0.89 and 0.85 in the Male 18-49 and M18-34 demographics, respectively.
