Spike TV’s live airing of “The Ultimate Fighter 13” Finale drew an average of 1.8 million viewers, according to numbers released Tuesday to Sherdog.com by Spike officials.
Headlined by a welterweight clash between 13th-season finalists Tony Ferguson and Ramsey Nijem, the event emanated from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Ferguson was crowned the winner of the season when he knocked Nijem out with a picture-perfect left hook in the first round.
Also featured on the card was a pivotal lightweight scrap pitting Anthony Pettis against Clay Guida. The “Carpenter” walked away with a unanimous decision over Pettis in the co-main event by scoring takedowns and controlling top position.
