Showtime returns to Las Vegas Friday night for another edition of its popular “ShoBox: The New Generation” program. To be held downtown at the D Las Vegas, the Don King-promoted card is loaded with heavyweight action and, not surprisingly, none of the fighters had any issues making weight.

The main event pits New Yorker Trevor Bryan (15-0, 11 KOs) and his unblemished pro ledger against veteran Derric Rossy, also from the Empire State. Rossy (30-9, 14 KOs) first tipped the scale at 235.5 pounds; his foe followed suit with an official weight of 227 pounds.

The only non-heavyweight attraction on the bill is an attraction between unbeaten Dominican Juan Ubaldo Cabrera (23-0, 15 KOs) and Decarlo Perez (14-3-1, 5 KOs). Perez, from Atlantic City, was up first and nailed the weight, coming in strong at (160.5) pounds. Cabrera also hit the limit, weighing in officially at (160.5) pounds.
