Showtime’s popular boxing series that promotes young contender, ShoBox: The New Generation, will televise another card of intriguing matchups Friday night. Per the norm, the card will display tomorrow’s potential champions before they reach that level.

Unbeaten middleweight prospect Sergiy Derevyanchenko (5-0, 4 KOs) is slated to return to against battled-tested veteran Elvin Ayala (28-6-1, 12 KOs) and their fight will be held inside the Ballroom at Bally’s Atlantic City, N.J. The event will be televised live on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET (delayed on West Coast).

In the co-feature, Derevyanchenko’s stablemate, prospect Ievgen Khytrov (10-0, 9 KOs), will oppose Nick Brinson (17-3-2, 7 KOs) in an eight-round middleweight matchup. The opening bout of the telecast will be a junior welterweight clash between unbeaten knockout artists Regis Prograis (14-0, 12 KOs) and Amos Cowart (11-0-1, 9 KOs)

Ayala was the first headliner to weigh in and he landed a little over at 161 pounds. His undefeated opponent followed suit and came in one pound under the 160-pound limit. Before them, Khytov clocked in at 159 pounds and Brinson also weighed 159. Prograis tipped the scale at 139 pounds while Cowart came in at the same weight
