SRN: Shields, Menjivar & Cox

The Sherdog Radio Network was excellent on this Good Friday with new episodes of "Beatdown" and "The Savage Dog Show." Joining the programs was UFC 129 headliner Jake Shields, Ivan Menjivar and Monte Cox.

Greg Savage and Jeff Sherwood returned for another 'SDS.' Joining them was UFC 129 fighter Jake Shields. The Cesar Gracie product will face off against Georges St-Pierre next Saturday night in Toronto at Rogers Center. The former Strikeforce middleweight champion talks about the fight and what he has to do to take St-Pierre's crown.

Also on "The Savage Dog Show" was MMA manager and promoter Monte Cox. The Iowa native shares his thoughts to comments made this week on Sherdog.com by UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen.

On "Beatdown" Jack Encarnacao and myself welcomed UFC 129 participant Ivan Menjivar. "The Pride of El Salvador" makes his return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship next saturday to face fellow bantamweight Charlie Valencia. Menjivar talks about the long road back to the octagon and what he has gone through to get there. The Quebec native also talks about what this event means for Canada.
