A knee injury forced unbeaten welterweight prospect Myles Jury
from the competition on
Season 13 of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series. However,
striking guru Tony Palafox, who trains the 22-year-old at
Victory MMA and Fitness in San Diego, views the injury as a
small bump in the road. Palafox in a recent interview with
Sherdog.com on Jury’s future:
“I see him holding a belt. With all the hard training and with what he’s doing now, I see him holding a belt and defending it, whether it’s at 170 [pounds] or 155. He’s at that level. He was already good when we first got him. We never really changed much with him. We just added on.”
