Podcast: Karo Parisyan, Art Davie

TJ De Santis and Jeff Sherwood returned to the Sherdog Radio Network on Monday for another edition of "Beatdown." Joining them in studio was one of the masterminds of UFC 1, Art Davie, as well as Bellator welterweight Karo Parisyan.

Without Davie, the UFC may have never come to reality. Davie joins De Santis and Sherwood to discuss his role in the early days of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, ideas that never came to fruition, and his thoughts on the spectacle that has turned in to modern sport. Davie also discusses his new book "Is This Legal?"

On Friday night in Temecula, Calif., Parisyan pushed his Bellator record to 2-0. The onetime UFC welterweight contender stopped Phil Baroni in the first round by TKO. "The Heat" joined "Beatdown" to discuss his latest victory, where his career is going from here, and his thoughts on the new management team at Bellator.
