PBC on NBC Weigh-in Results: Wilder, Duhaupas Ready to Go

All the pre-fight roadblocks have been sorted out between all parties involved. Now the only thing left to do is try and knock the other guy’s block off.

Saturday night will see WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder put his title on the line in primetime on NBC against Johann Duhaupas. Wilder (34-0, 33 KOs) looked like he was made out of granite a day ahead his headlining bout inside the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala and weighed in officially at 228.6 pounds. His challenger looked solid as well; Duhaupas (32-2, 20 KOs) tipped the scale at 236 pounds.

The co-feature of the evening will see 2012 Olympic heavyweight Dominic Breazeale locking horns with Fred Kassi. Breazeale (15-0, 14 KOs) was massive as usual and came in at 258.2 pounds. Kassi (18-3-1, 10 KOs) was a much smaller 222.6 pounds.

In the opening bout of the telecast, another pair of heavyweights will duke it out. Charles Martin (21-0-1, 19 KOs) clocked in at 247.8 pounds while opponent Vicente Sandez (15-4, 10 KOs) weighed 249.4 pounds.
