PBC on NBC Weigh-in Results: Peterson, Diaz on Weight

Premier Boxing Champions returns with another Saturday afternoon card on NBC as the welterweights will take center stage. Anchoring the event will be former IBF junior welterweight champion Lamont Peterson taking on Felix Diaz in a 12-round non-title affair.

Friday afternoon’s weigh-ins went off without a hitch as both Peterson and Diaz easily made the 147-pound limit. Peterson (33-3-1, 17 KOs) tipped the scale at 144.4 pounds while Diaz (17-0, 8 KOs), who won gold at the 2008 Olympics for the Dominican Republic, came in at 144.2 pounds.

The co-featured battle pits Prichard Colon (16-0, 13 KOs) against Terrel Williams in a 10-round welterweight bout. Colon stepped to the scale and weighed 148.8 pounds while Williams (14-0, 12 KOs) clocked in four ounces lighter.

Held inside the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va.. The live telecast will begin promptly at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.
