Top Rank officially announced the finalized main undercard to the Manny Pacquiao-Jessie Vargas pay-per-view event in November. The event will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and the longtime promotion revealed three bouts that will support the WBO welterweight championship main event.
The bouts will be officially announced at a press conference next week in Los Angeles.
Pacquiao was originally supposed to fight on HBO PPV but the cable giant and Top Rank have been feuding over what HBO deemed a lackluster main event not worthy of pay-per-view. HBO reportedly was cautious of putting the fight on pay-per-view so close to the mega showdown between world-recognized light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev and Andre Ward, which is slated for Nov. 19, also in Vegas and on HBO PPV. The event will likely be available on pay-per-view through Top Rank.
