UFC veteran Rich Clementi will collide with Kyle Jensen in the featured bout at Ultimate Cage Fighting Championship “Rumble on the Rivers” on June 27 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. The sport of mixed martial arts came under regulation in Pennsylvania earlier this year.

Cut by the UFC after back-to-back losses to Gray Maynard and Gleison Tibau, the 32-year-old Clementi (32-14-1) has posted six wins in his last eight fights. A seasoned veteran with nearly 50 professional fights under his belt, the Louisiana native holds victories against former International Fight League titleholder Ryan Schultz, one-time TKO champion Sam Stout and rising UFC welterweight contender Anthony Johnson. Clementi has secured almost half (15) of his 32 career wins by submission.

Unbeaten in his past nine appearances, Jensen (38-10-2) will carry a four-fight winning streak in the match. He has finished his last four opponents by submission, all of them inside one round. The World Extreme Cagefighting veteran has crossed paths with some of the world’s most accomplished fighters, including former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit and one-time UFC welterweight title challenger Jon Fitch. In fact, he has not tasted defeat since he submitted to a rear-naked choke from Condit in January 2007. Jensen has delivered 37 of his 38 career wins by knockout, technical knockout or submission.

Dream and WEC veteran Micah Miller, UFC veteran Steve Bruno, 2008 NCAA national wrestling champion Phil Davis and former Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro Carlton Haselrig have also been booked to compete.
