Arnett (13-1, 8 KOs) has won two straight bouts since losing for the first time in the pro ranks, which came at the hands of Eddie Gomez in January of 2014. The local kid has taken on a steady diet of solid opponents and most expect Conley to be a sturdy test for him.
In Conley, the San Bernardino, Calif., fighter has taken on similar opposition in his still-blossoming career. Conley (11-0-1, 6 KOs) has won four in a row, all via decision, since battling to a six-round draw with Juan Carlos Rojas almost two years ago.
The card is headlined by the 12-round bantamweight title fight between Juan Carlos Payano (16-0, 8 KOs) and Rau'shee Warren (13-0, 4 KO). Also on the telecast will be a two-fight tournament in the junior middleweight division featuring a 10-round matchup between Olympic Silver medalist Yudel Jhonson (17-1, 9 KOs) versus Jorge Cota (24-1, 22 KOs), and a 10-round showdown between Olympian John Jackson (19-2, 15 KOs) and Dennis Laurente (49-5, 30 KOs). The winners will meet in a matchup at a later date.
The televised portion of the card will air live at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Bounce TV as well as BounceTV.com. The event is being held inside the theater in Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla.
