Glory Finalizes Massive Year-End Event
Glory announced Tuesday that its massive year-end event has been
finalized. Glory: Collision will be held at the Konig-Pilsener
Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, on Dec. 10 and will be anchored by
the heavyweight championship between Rico Verhoeven (48-10, 12 KOs)
and Badr Hari (106-12, 93 KOs).
Glory welterweight world champion Nieky Holzken (90-11, 46 KO) will defend his crown against Cedric Doumbe (56-4-1, 35 KO) in the co-featured bout while heavyweights Ismael Londt (38-6-1, 18 KO) will oppose Jamal Ben Saddik (27-4, 23 KO). Rounding out the bill will be the grand finale of the Glory Women’s Super Bantamweight Grand Prix, who will be fighting on the Glory 36 SuperFight Series undercard earlier in the day.
Glory: Collision will mark the first time in history that a pay-per-view event will be exclusively aired on UFC.tv that is not a UFC fight card. Glory: Collision will be distributed as a live PPV event on North American cable and satellite providers iN DEMAND, DirecTV and DISH Network, with global distribution coming via the UFC.tv digital streaming service, with the cost of the event being $29.95.
The action will go live at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT on the day of the event, immediately following both the Glory 36: Germany main card and the SuperFight Series undercard, which will stream live on ESPN3 and UFC Fight Pass, respectively.
