Despite Danger, Greg Jackson Supports Donald Cerrone’s Hobbies

Greg Jackson, on “Beatdown,” discussing whether it’s hard to keep Donald Cerrone focused on MMA considering all of the hobbies he has outside of the cage:

“I wouldn’t say ‘focused.’ I would say it’s hard to keep him alive. He does crazy things all the time, and one of my biggest concerns is just don’t hurt yourself and don’t die. You can do whatever you want as long as those two things are taken care of. … Donald’s such an intensely passionate guy that he needs to have these different outlets for all that energy. He’s so energetic. He’s like a kid. He always has to be doing something. I actually think it helps him. I think wakeboarding relaxes him. It takes his mind off fighting. It balances him out. Same thing with the ranch and everything that he does. I think it’s a very good thing that he does those things. It hasn’t affected his performance at all. As a matter of fact, I think he performs better because of it.”
