Revered American Kickboxing Academy trainer "Crazy" Bob Cook didn't
nudge Daniel
Cormier out of the nest -- he shoved the two-time Olympic
wrestler out with both hands.
Come Saturday, Cormier will have completed three fights in one month's time -- the latter happens against Jason Riley at Strikeforce "Houston" and will be one of two preliminary bouts that will air live and free on Sherdog.com.
In this video exclusive, Cormier discusses his coach's reasoning for the recent rapid-fire schedule and why that's the best thing for his career at the moment. The Lafayette, La., native also notes the significance of fighting in his own backyard and what he expects from himself on Saturday with his mother and friends watching cageside.
