Alliance MMA Hires Burt Watson as Director of Fighter Relations
Alliance MMA, Inc., a mixed martial arts organization that offers
promotional opportunities to aspiring fighters, announced on
Wednesday that Burt Watson has joined the company. Watson will be
Alliance MMA’s Director of Fighter Relations and will serve as a
motivational mentor for Alliance MMA’s regional promotions and
their fighters.
In this new gig, Watson will help aid the company’s fighters on their road to hopefully one day become world champions. He will routinely attend Alliance MMA promotions across the country to ensure consistency in fighter relations continue and maintain that its fighter will be competing at the highest levels possible.
“Alliance MMA has already acquired five promotions, and we have
plans to expand our operations aggressively in the coming months,”
Robert Haydak, President of Alliance MMA, stated. “Burt’s direct
involvement will create a level of consistency for the promotions

Watson began his professional in the sport of boxing where he coordinated events featuring such all-time greats as “Sugar” Ray Leonard, Oscar de la Hoya, Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. before moving to MMA where he served as the event coordinator for the UFC. From there, he became the head of fighter relations for Cage Fury.
